Manchester United have sold young striker Giuseppe Rossi to Spanish side
Villarreal.
Rossi’s future had been the subject of intense debate for most of the summer
after an impressive loan spell at Parma at the end of last season.
The deal is subject to a medical but is expected to be completed before the end of the week, allowing Rossi to effectively replace another former United player, Diego Forlan,

He'll do well there but was always going to be too lightweight for the PL. Best of luck to him.

Sad to see him go. Dont think he was ever given a fair go and if we had him towards the back end of last season when we had all the injuries he might have just surprised a few. Dont see the point in signing 1 striker (if it goes through) and getting rid of 2 and having 2 others who are permanently injuried.

Good player but not good enough for UTD. If he was, he would've played more last season instead of going out on loan and, cancelling that, would still be here now.

Would love to see Rhodzy's face.
