Anyone who knows anything about football knew Moyes was destined to be a failure.
With LvG, you look at his record and what he had done in recent times with the Dutch national team in Brazil and it was understandable to start believing again and getting exciting.

With Moyes, least for me, failure was expected from the moment he took over.
With LvG, sage or not, I doubt very much anyone saw this playing out the way it did.

Is it worse than Moyes? Nope! However, it's more disappointing as more was expected.

When asked a question during a presser in January 2014, about how is it United were in a worse position than the previous season, Moyes smugly smiled, looked around the room and said "Well, I'm not"
When the squad returned from a break in Dubai in February, he remarked on the trip. "It was really great, really enjoyable, I got to know the players." Got to know the players after being in charge for 8 £#%&!ing months?!?!

It's OK to be angry, upset, annoyed, disappointed, sad, about what's currently happening but, don't ever forget how David Moyes made you feel

We'll be closer to 7th than 4th this season if this #@&%! stays

Edit: I forgot that it's 2016 now

Yes, just in a different way.

We were utterly pathetic by the end under Moyes. Comfortably getting turned over by any decent side.

Now, we tend to lose more narrowly.

So we just don't lose as heavily. Hooray.

you're not a sage. under any circumstances. Reposting twitter comments and panicking doesn't make a sage.
Neither am I btw, but you are claiming to be one quite regularly.

I am no sage and have never called myself one unless in total jest, I do like to call others sages though.

At least we played attacking football under Moyes.

That is enough for me.

The football this last 3 months has been far worse than under Moyes.

Anyone denying that is talking shite.

I think the minute a ball was kicked in a competitive game it's been rotten.

Opening game, Swansea defeat. Piss poor.

Then Burnley away, new signing out of position. Piss Poor.

MK Dons, took us till the 73 minute to have a shot on goal.

Take that magical month away and you'll find mediocre week in week out.
