No way we should be starting Martial after his last "effort".

It'll be

Onanoh
AWB
Linda
Martinez
Dalot (too soon for Reggie imo)

Cas
Bruno
Eriksen

Anthony
Razzers
Rashers

I'd actually go with The Scottish Player (if Batters isn't ready - which he won't be, surely?) for Eriksen.

Due a win at the Emirates.

If we start Eriksen with Casemiro and Bruno we will lose. Amrabat won't have been registered before the deadline to play.

Onana

Wan-Bissaka
Lindelof
Martinez
Dalot

Casemiro
The Scottish Player
Bruno

Antony
Hojlund
Rashford

I expect Arsenal to dominate the ball, so Eriksen would be an absolute passenger.

Given paucity of options, would go for Casemiro and McTomminay. At least the latter can run, which is one thing he has over Eriksen.

oh yes the old "he can run" argument. he can run all he wants he wont touch the ball or influence the game. eriksen wasn't bad at home to arse last season though considering he was in a wheelchair.

Well of course, it is a bit more than 'being able to run'. It is being able to influence the game when you don't have the ball from a defensive standpoint. Something which is fairly critical when you are away from home against a better side. Almost a key requirement for a central midfielder. And something which Eriksen is absolutely horrendous at being able to achieve.

Eriksen

McTomminay

He is a non entity if not in possession.

nice green bars but i'm biased because i think eriksen is a better footballer, and i also think scott is one of the worst midfielders we've ever had. if he starts a game for me it's a guarantee we will not and cannot win that game. if he comes on with 20 minutes to go it's a guarantee we will drop points. i hate him. not as much as i hate maguire, or martial, or as much i hated de gea, but i hate him nonetheless.

play eriksen tomorrow and there's a chance we will win.
play scott and the absolute best you can hope for is a draw, but the most likely outcome is a battering with him anonymous throughout.

I think you meant to say, thanks for pointing out what a liability Eriksen can be.

No problem, Larry. Happy to oblige.

There isn't really a debate over who is the better footballer. It is who is the better fit for tomorrow's match. It isn't Eriksen, for me.

when the alternative is The Scottish Player, forget worrying about the opposition and play your best players. anyway 10h knows scott is shit, 10h and i are always on the same page so absolutely no concerns that scott will start tomorrow.

Might be academic anyway. No The Scottish Player or Sancho according to this.
