Shit for the guy but it sounds like it could be time replace him and look for an upgrade not some stop gap on loan. He’s 28, been playing top level football since he was 17(?) and if it’s true that leg break is now causing long term problems it would be ridiculous to hold onto him much longer.

All joking aside he did well to even come back from that injury, let alone still playing at the highest level 8 years later.

We don't need to sign a 'temporary' left back ffs.

Is there nobody in this entire @#%&!ing club we can stick there for a couple of games until we get one back?

How the £#%&! has this happened? Mainoo, Amad, Shaw, Malacia, Mount, Hojlund...

Why the £#%&! are our players dropping like flies ffs? What's this new £#%&!ing doctor we got from Arsenal doing? I presume this is the same guy who oversaw the fitness regimes of such trojans as Aaron Ramsay and Keiran Tierney?

Shaw might be out till dec. malacia I don’t think a date has been given for when he is back. So it’s either dalot or the academy player Fernandez.

Never really liked dalot but he should be able to do a job till December. Play Fernandez , might have a hidden academy player gem

Something about his muscle on the leg he broke a few years back being iffy. It was off a tweet so could be horseshit.

If that's the case we don't need to be looking at signing a stopgap, we should be in the market for a permanent upgrade.

we can't be having him going missing for months at a time every season because of his broken leg from 9 years ago.

We have no money. Any money we do have/may get through sales needs to be prioritised for a CM.

Dalot should be able to do a job. Maybe malacia comes back in the next few weeks so it won’t be as bad as it sounds.

There’s a chance the tweet is %@#$&!s too.

However if the tweet isn’t , I much rather they play dalot/Fernandez than sign a cover LB on loan. He plays with inverted FBs anyway so the right foot may just benefit dalot coming in on his stronger foot

Only at United we find ourselves in this situation after a good first season for ETH

Correct.

We’ll no doubt offer him a 5 contract extension on 250k the day he returns though.

7m is a joke, especially given how skint we appear to be, but agree I'd rather we make do with what we have than spend a penny on Reguilon. Weren't we in for him under Ole or Ralf?

There's £#%&! all point in getting in some mediocre stop gap, may as well stick someone from the £#%&!ing youth team in there.

We're going to lose to arsenal and probably brighton anyway so it doesn't really matter.

yeah for sure. Just give up before a ball is kicked. That's what this football club is built on.

I'm really quite £#%&!ed off about this. we are supposed to be a club which prides itself on blooding youth team players.

instead we're going to squander the remaining pittance in our transfer budget on a player who we know won't be good enough.
