WHAT has happened to herrera? The amount of injuries we're picking up outside of matches is unprecedented and you really must ask questions of just what the hell they're doing in training.

at least Shaw, blind, smalling were injured during games.

Rafael, herrera, fellaini and rojo just disappeared
Apparently "ill", not injured.

Didn't expect any of the others back. They have to have full training for 2 weeks before being considered for selection
Valencia has earned his place to be fair to him. Love Raf but he might struggle as a wing back, totally different role to playing as an overlapping fullback. He excels as an attacking player when he can make late runs and has people close to play off. The wing backs have been far too isolated of late.

Keep Falcao in, had a solid game even beyond the goal at Villa, Di Maria hopefully starts and brings some pace to the attacking play.

I must say, this 'Evans is scared of black players' line, apart from being a bit weird, does a great disservice to Jelavic, Ulloa and all the other lads who take the piss out of him on a regular basis.

He's also quite stupid, has poor instincts and is nowhere near as great on the ball as some suggest, imo.

nobody has scored 2 against us since Swansea at home have they? not sure why Newcastle are suddenly gonna score three.

they're a threat, but we have enough to beat them
We've won every home game since bar the draw with Chelsea as well. I've got no concerns re playing anyone at home. Especially Newcastle.

Utd have relied massively on De Gea to keep them in games, even with Fellaini in the side Utd have been giving up a lot of chances, can not continue to take the 1 or 2 chances you make and expect the keeper to perform miracles. 6 wins in a row but really only against Hull would you say Utd were entirely convincing.
Literally can't believe we're sitting here at the busiest time of the season and we're going to have to stick Wayne Rooney or Darren Fletcher in midfield for the 2nd game in a £#%&!ing row. :shakehead:

£70m worth of £#%&!ing midfielders and not one of them is available. Blind and Herrera haven't even managed 8 starts for us. And we're in December. It's bordering on farce.

We're not going to be seriously challenging for anything as long as we have this ridiculous injury merry-go-round. We'll end up just like Arsenal, all our key players injured all the £#%&!ing time and we'll plod into 4th or something.

Blind did his knee in an international didn't he? Just plain bad luck. Hererra is an odd one though. He's a bit slight, i'd like to see him go beefcake nqat. Fellaini - i'm glad that @#%&!'s injured.

It is ridiculous and all signs point towards Utd going in for Strootman who will be in exactly the same recovery stage as Falcao has been in, meaning we are unlikely to see the best of him until next season.

Muddle through this season, perhaps a push for the Fa Cup. The collapse of Arsenal and Liverpool has been a boon for LVG, Arsenal had 79 points in 4th last season, Utd might be able to secure third with 70. Next season a serious title challenge.

A title was never on the agenda this season, Arsenal will come good with a late run as they always do to get their customary champions league spot. Hopefully in the last 3rd of the season we can get all those players we spent hundreds of millions on out onto the pitch at the same time.

The game at villa sent us back to earth with a £#%&!ing thud, watching a team who can't score goals, down to 10 men and terrorising our woeful defence and non-existent midfield.

state of that last sentence. take it down a notch. 'terrorised'

I wouldn't call a draw a 'thud'. It exposed out weakness we all knew we had with fairly minimal damage.

agree on other points re arsenal and our injuries etc.

4th was the aim this season. It remains the aim and I think we'll get it. The process is interesting and we're trying to do the right things. The injuries are the main issue this season.
