If we keep to score down to single figures I’ll be impressed

My favourite away (home) ground.
Likewise went loads as a kid to Maine Road (including the 5-1 and the 3-3 when absurdly underrated McClair bagged the two late goals). Mainly in the city end or those snide benches in the Platt stand. Half the stands were half United (although that was true of a lot of aways in those days).
Still, not sure if this nostalgia is relevant for this weekend's game. Yes they're plastic cheating @#%&!s but every derby has to be fought for and won. If we;re not fighting for every ball like our life depended on it we will lose.

😁 Might have been the derby after the five nil, can't remember but one of the best game I've ever been at. They'd knocked down the Kippax and the away section was in the pissing down rain in a temporary stand. Officer Dibble was in net and it was glorious. Think we won three nil but this might not be the case.

When did we last go into a derby as favourites? How long until we do?

To do what?

It’s a game we most likely to lose but probably won’t. I’m oddly optimistic.

imagine having this manager that is the one to take us back to the glory days and not even backing him to have a chance against a city that aren’t THAT good!

why can’t our great manager and tactician use his nous and cook something that will enable us to beat city ?

We won there 1-0 in 2008 (Rooney winner). This was the only time I've been in the City end (had a boring @#%&! next to me talking loads and I hardly knew any of the city players).
The 2-0 win during lockdown was good if that counts? Think there was another win under Ole there (the game he %@#$&!ed Lingard for repeatedly giving the ball away)

For me the lockdown games are pretty close equivalence to watching computer vs computer on fifa. Don't seem to have vivid memory of any of them

We won twice there in the league under Ole.

I think the one you’re thinking of with Lingard was the league cup semi second leg, another one we won but obviously went out on GD because they treat a visit to Old Trafford like a £#%&!ing Man City Family Fun Day
