The LVG mantra is thinking players, players who understand the process. Nothing wrong with it as a method but Raf is not exactly that type. He is all instinct and emotion, makes him fun to watch, a classic Fergie player really.

Not really, he has never been prolific, 61 in 368 club games. A bit like Giggs(an inferior version though) more a creator. To get the best out of him you need movement and energy around him instead of him firing ball at 2 static strikers. Rooney, Wilson and Di Maria with Herrera knitting it together
