Default Van Persie on his way

According to the Oracle JJ.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/...louis-van-gaal

Could be a useful bargaining chip.

It's a pity QPR got relegated and Harry Redknapp won't get another managerial job

All true and advocate getting rid of him in a shot, but with Falcao and Hernandez £#%&!ing off, that would be 3 strikers out leaving us with just the erratic and slowing down Rooney and the not yet done anything Wilson, and about 6 other players to buy at this moment. Can't see us buying 2 strikers. Perhaps RvP will be seeing out his contract

Cut price Radamel.

Best ball playing forward at the club. Guaranteed 4 goals from the bench.

Got hammered at the time but always said we would only get one good season out of him.

Not as hammered as I got for saying he was a poor signing.

That was Fergie buying him to win the league. And it worked.

If we hadn't bought him we still would probably have won the league

We actually scored less goals and got the same number points with van Persie as the main centre forward than the previous season with Rooney up top as the main man

Plus it completely £#%&!ed up Fergie's original plan of using Kagawa as a number 10

It was short-termism at it's worst tbh

This. And if we had invested the money in a proper midfielder or 2 perhaps we wouldn't have needed strikers to dig us out of the shit so oftenthat season, and would've still had a semblance of a midfield last season and this.

But you didn't get hammered for saying the dippers would finish above us nor for bigging up that clown Rodgers so it all evens out
