That David Johnson dick who's mates with a few of the players just tweeted this:

https://twitter.com/david_johnson7/s...50308060303360

Says it's from a first team player. He's said stuff in the past about Morrison/Pogba etc that's been spot on to be fair.

Yeah he's a dick but he's usually spot on with his info when he says he's heard something. Probably Welbeck that told him, I see he's also confirming that Welbeck is staying.

The Sun claiming it's nearly done too

£20m+ on a 29 yr old injury-prone striker that we don't need and nothing on a CM who can add some spine to the most gutless United side I've ever seen.

What is Frogson thinking?

If we sign Van Persie and Welbeck signs a new deal (which is just as important) I'll actually be excited for the new season. It will be a big lift the club needs instead of losing out on every top player usually to rivals.

Except we still are still lacking a player in midfield.

Obviously not number 1 priority but if we do get him (doubtful) I dont see how anyone could be negative about it. He's a fantastic footballer. Much better than any of the other forwards we've got, so would improve the team greatly.
