Which FIFA was it where you could slide a goalkeeper and get an instant red card? Or, more, importantly, when did they stop you doing that? If you had five reds cards the game was abandoned and your mates would be going mental.

I often get the impression you'd have been a good lad had you been born up north. Ah well. Rep

Regarding red cards I lost my shit the other night against Fleetwood as Wimbledon on the latest Fifa, got 3 red cards but the game wouldn't let me get 4 or 5 modern football is rubbish

Yep. Or Monkey Rush - where you could swap any player as goalie if he was in the area. Handy if you've only a few players.

Daddy: I dont want to get stuck in goal

Roger: Okay, we can rotate goalkeeper, you go first.

Daddy: No £#%&!ing way.

Roger: Rush keeper then. You come out when ever you want.

Daddy: No, Roger. Lets Play monkey rush. Who ever is back furthest goes in. Ask Mummy if she agrees.

We called it rush goalie too. No monkeys or indeed any other simian creatures involved.

Rush goalies should be the next rule bought in by FIFA.

If you hit blaze a shot over the goal, you're in goal too. If the goalie catches in - you're in!

Scenes.

Rush Keeper - a designated Keeper that could maraud upfield also
Spider - closest to the goal can save with his hands.

Fly goalie for us was one designated keeper who could come out of his area.

Rush goalie was nearest one to the net could use his hands.

Edit: like 'Spider' above.
