Who would sack him though? FIFA is a wholly corrupt organisation and most people there are corrupt or have been their knowing other people are corrupt. They aren't going to sack him and I don't think they can sack him. He's basically unaccountable

Wait a second, so the charge is that he's taken money corruptly from FIFA?

Even now they're taking the piss.

That's kind of what I meant - massive sponsors pull, whole thing could implode.

Typical dictator setup :shakehead:
He has all his cronies around him lining there own pockets so they want the whole thing just to be swept under the carpet or hope to ride the storm out

Only pictures of him in a prison cell will see reform at FIFA

People naturally tend towards self-interest. The only question is whether the organisation is structured in a way that limits that, like the way the IOC made some changes (though still not enough) after 2002.

Whoever replaces Blatter need to change the decision making process so that it's largely automated and taken out of the hands of a group of old men in suits, the majority of whom are from tinpot FAs that have little vested interest in the health of the professional game, 'cos they're essentially rotten boroughs; and completely remove their freebie ticket system. Those individuals' main money-maker is from bid bribes & ticket touting, take those things away from them and they've lost most avenues for corruption.

Ridiculous.

Can't even come up with a successor at FIFA or UEFA due to every @#%&! being on the take.

Corruption all the way down

Tokyo Sex Whale would get my vote. He's got the obligatory shady business history for a start. Beyond those dealings, his misdemeanours have been helpfully listed in order of severity on Wikipedia, including:

In 2005, Sexwale was roundly criticized for being "indecisive" during the live finale of the South African version of The Apprentice, which he fronted on SABC3. Both finalists, Zanele Batyashe, 24, and Khomotso Choma, 34, were hired in the finale which aired 22 September.

Swiftly followed by:

A further black mark against Sexwale is the appearance of his name in a United Nations report on illegal transactions under the Oil-for-Food Programme. :shakehead:
