rooney's having a great season but he hasn't been the best player in the country. or even in the team.


fletcher has been the best player in the league by a distance so far this season. motm in the majority of games, and even his worst has been very good.

Rooney was pretty poor 2nd half yesterday and 1st half at Spurs tbh. Not being picky, just that he isn't where you claim as yet, plenty of time though and hopefully he will continue to improve as the season progresses, along with all the others.

I'm not saying he hasn't been brilliant in the main, but you are getting bit giddy tbh. He was pretty ordinary at Burnley as well IIRC. Plenty of room for improvement but playing well. He hasn't been as good as he was for that 5-6 games spell about this time last season when he was completely unplayable, for instance. So chill.
