Utd/city half and half scarves

I know these scarves can be quite popular when we are playing Bara/Real etc

But today ????? Who would buy one of these ? Unbelievable as Victor would say.

dunno about the scarves...but ive spoken to at least half a dozen old blokes who as kids used to got to United one week and City the next....it would have been pre Munich and post WW2

Kid called ralph above suggests that such scarves date back to when people alternated and his dad 'has a few'. Like I said, I think thats utter %@#$&!s - ie half united-half city scarves, not the fact people watched both teams.

It continued long after that. My dad used to do it in his 20s (mid 1960s) as his best mate was a blue so they'd alternate.

According to him though, almost everyone who did it supported one or the other, not both - and Ive never heard of such scarves being around then.
