City downed tools when guardiola was announced. It’s not the first time they’ve underperformed due to managerial issues. That’s what happens when it’s a team of mercianaries where the only reason to be there is money and no additional motive because the club is incidental.
Uniteds players started playing for pride when the battle was won and they knew they wouldn’t be stuck with the manager past the end of the season. If that battle hadn’t been won, the morale would have seen us mid table.

Why? What rivalry do Mancunian united fans have with Abu Dhabi? You can’t have bragging rights when the majority don’t give a £#%&!, as evidenced by many united fans wanting them to win the league last time they won it.
