I *think* that's our first 1-0 in the league since Brum at home on the opening day........

Bit of a contrast with last season

weren't they being told to lay the banners down on the ground so as not to obscure the advertising?

Piss poor excuse imo.

United are looking for excuses to get the banners down and instructing other clubs/wembley to do the same imo.

It's brilliant news and shows United are genuinely worried.

Nani is shit on the left. Maybe Valencia could have a shift out there and stick Nani on the right?
I think moving Valencia would be a poor decision, he creates most of our chances and has very good delivery. Moving him to the left would make him ineffective from a creative view point, as he is useless on his left foot.

I love it how he talks down to the fans etc, like the audio of that argument with the lad off RI at the Q & A at a Uni wasn't it?

He must think we're all stupid. United are treading on thin ice, the way Gill said to that lad at the Q & A "we've won the league the last 3 years". What happens if we don't win a major trophy this season, and struggle next season? The club's lies will not hold any water. I've said all along, United knew, at this moment in time, they could sell the world's best player, for a world record fee, and get away with not replacing him 'cos of our success in recent years.

Lying £#%&!ing @#%&!s.

sure, to them. what was the £#%&! was he thinking shooting from wide left. he's never scored a goal like that in his life (not awake, at least). park played shit. still, when you've got your favourites, it's hard to be objective about how utterly bereft of any talent they are. (you, I mean.)

£#%&! off. nani was up against their best player on the night and he never gave up even though he wasn't doing so well. at least he's a goal threat. park isn't and diouf's miss was worse than vokes's.

sorry, but park and diouf were useless.

The midfield is a serious problem, Anderson and Giggs injured, Carrick suspended. If Utd stay with a 4-3-3 then is it Scholes, Fletcher and Gibson with Park and Valencia flanking Berbatov. Considering where he played Park in Milan it may be Park(on Pirlo) instead of Gibson with Nani out left, where he struggles.

Milan are vulnerable to pace on the counter, but Berbatov as the pivot in a 4-3-3 is not suited, really need Rooney to make that formation work.

Gibson in midfield would worry me against Seedorf, Pirlo and Ronaldinho, would even prefer O'Shea in there in this type of match.

That late Seedorf goal has made the scenario a little more complicated. As ever first goal is crucial.

Even if Rooney if fit Fergie will have problems
I wouldn't mind seeing this team against Milan, but Fergie seems reluctant to play Valencia through the middle so far.

Goonwd like a mentalist when thTgoal went in, seemed like one of those days. If rio n vodox weren't back we might have dropped points.

Top of the league!

It'd make more sense to have nani on the left, valencia on the right and park in the middle. Park played the first leg in the middle. Shame Wes got injured, i'd prefer him at right back on Weds.
