the big plus tonight apart from minutes on the pitch was how good the team looked firstly with Park through instead of obertan - that was a class finish as well, just floating the ball into the weak spot. and secondly how good hernandez really is. it looked like he had an immediate partnership with berbatov on the yank tour, but it looks like the reality is that he might be able to do that with anybody he plays with. there really is just no value. exaggerating on the first point obviously, but it was a class finish all the same

Strange one, that.
Yep, felt sorry for Obers there.

Chance for us to beat them this time, if so

I would also quite like to get Ipswich, though......

Right, I've had just about enough of this ...I have been just as positive about Pea's arrival at United as anyone else.
I said at the World Cup that he looked like the real deal (although I did warn my fellow fredsters to keep their feet on the ground)

My wish for another striker over the summer was as a replacement for Berbatov (who I thought would be on his way out after the season he had just had)
It had nothing to do with me not thinking Hernandez was up to it. I didn't know the answer to that anymore than anyone else on here.

Let's not have a 'Rooney v Pea' agenda every time the kid scores a goal.
Rooney's let us all down & has acted the @#%&!, but he HAS signed a new deal & he has given us 6 great seasons of Football.
He shouldn't be written off yet.

Yep, he's a shadow of his former self.

Carrick, Gibson and Park should be sold in the Summer.
