Sir Alex Ferguson tells Laurent Blanc: You're too young for France job (wait for Manchester United hot seat)

Sir Alex Ferguson has told his former defender Laurent Blanc to resist taking over as France boss.
Blanc is the overwhelming fans favourite to take over from Raymond Domenech after this summer's World Cup - registering three times more votes than Arsenal's Arsene Wenger in a high-profile poll this week.

But Manchester United veteran Ferguson believes it is not the right time for the former France defender to walk out on Bordeaux.'I think he is too young to become a national team coach,' said the 68-year-old.
'I think Laurent has a lot of things to do before taking this kind of role.
'This is his first season as a champion and managing his team in the Champions League. He should stay at Bordeaux.'

Blanc gleened knowledge from Ferguson by spending the last two years of his career at Old Trafford, after being signed from Inter Milan to replace Jaap Stam in 2001.
Rumours in France suggest Ferguson has eyed Blanc as a potential successor for the day when the Scot finally departs Old Trafford.
