He never developed as I'd hoped. His early years, his shot stopping was amazing, some of the best I've ever seen. But it gradually became clear that was it. As for the rest, he doesn't marshal his defence, his presence is pretty weak, he's absolute crap at collecting crosses, shit with his feet, resembles a goat and for penalties you might as well just put a traffic cone there for all the difference he makes.
Don't know who could replace him though. Anyone decent out there? Kasper Schmeichel is rumoured to be on his way out of Leicester. |

He's not been bad this season, but it's night and day watching him and someone like Alisson. Some will say it doesn't matter for a goalkeeper, but how bad he is with the ball at his feet is concerning.
Think we'll look to replace him next summer, as there seems to be bigger areas to address. I do think a top quality "modern" goalkeeper would make a huge difference to us, but time will tell. |
