Just topspin, which actually makes it easier to tip a ball over the bar. He went with the wrong hand. We coach keepers to use the 'top' hand in that situation (left, in this case). Shot was nowhere near the corner, either, until he pushed it there.

Not his fault exactly, no, but a top-flight keeper would have saved it.

I did similar in a very competitive game of headers and volleys . There were 9 keepers by this point and the fantastic was my only option .
