Unless I hear the score is 4-0 to Real in the 85th minute not a £#%&!ing chance in hell.

Will check score with half hour left and decide then.

Probably won't regardless of score. Just tell me they lost and I'm good.

Thumbs up

Yes - weekly ironing scheduled for then.

Helps relieve nervous tension for a half.

I just hope it’s a good match and that nobody gets sent off or injured.

Let’s hope football is the winner.

Yes. Until when/if it becomes clear that ‘they’ are going to win.

Yeah. Should be fun.

Obviously I'll be repeatedly closing the fridge door on the wife's head if Madrid blow it, but I'm sure they won't.

I started watching in 2005 when i heard they were one nil down and we know how that worked out, I didn't watch in 2007, so I'm not chancing it.

Don’t worry - the iron will be going through the telly if Madrid blow it.

The best way to end this season would be a Ronaldo hat trick and then him dedicating it to Sir Alex.

Absolutely £#%&!ing not.

One thing I’m glad of is the gap between their last game and the final. Hoping the confidence and momentum they had in this competition is slowed somewhat.

Scousers in the European Cup final and me “hoping”, £#%&!ing United did this

It's not happening, is it?

Madrid won the first five European Cups in a row. And the one previous final between these two (in 1981) was a Liverpool win, so that might be the thing that changes instead

Liverpool are going to win it. It was obvious from the minute they drew Roma.

Not watched one since we were last in the final. Time difference over here doesn’t help of course.

Dilemma for me is whether to watch highlights next day or check score first. Probably check score and watch if Madrid win

Yep, that’s my plan. Check score first, if they lost then I’ll watch extended highlights with a shit eating grin, win and I’ll try and purge it from my mind immediately and hate Mourinho more.
