Dunk probably right about me being a bit too protective of mata though. The lad does play for us tbf and noones scored/set up more goals since he came in what has been a difficult period for the club. Seems to be one of the few who genuinely likes the club/city aswell so its hard not to warm to the guy.

I remember the Palace one. Mata looked our brightest player first half, but faded when it all went chaotic in the second. One of my concerns with him is when the game gets frantic as happens in the English game. Struggles when that's the case. Reckon he prefers it slower if anything.

It is possible to move the ball fast though, just look at lous team for most of the last two months of last season. Matoh and Herrera who are fairly slow were spinning lads around for fun with their passing.

Honestly that first half v Liverpool was so good it almost makes up for the tough stuff we've seen for most of this season. As big gaz said, we'd never pissed on the scouse from such a great height at anfield before.

All the FA Cup highlights are on MOTD at the moment. Clinton Morrisons scores against the lowest ranked side in the competition and he's running to the camera pointimg to his name on his shirt

It's weird, also the fact than loads on here watch full spurs games every week since they know how much better Eriksen is.

Tbf, Spurs have been on TV 13 times already this season. So not surprising if lads have seen a fair bit of them!

herrera is not slow. he has quick feet and he can run or pass. his dynamism is exactly what we need up top. the only problem he has is that king louis seems to think he can play in a two-man midfield and provide some kind of holding cover when that is absolutely not his strength. he's a good tackler for an attacking midfielder, but that's about it.
