We were very unlucky away to Spurs and Arsenal. Think we'll do ok the game raising bastards.

Would actually start Rashford and Bruno as well:

Onana

Dalot Varane Maguire Reguilon

Casemiro .......Amrabat
Bruno

Mount Hojlund Gashford

Football Derby build up

There’s not much chance we’ll win so we actually will.

Should rename the other thread buildup to the buildup…

Still think the same. Can get any worse (can it?)

We’ll smash em

Started to be drawn towards the positive vibes I was getting off here - you never know, we often play well when you least expect it, playing on the break will suit us and the infamous, ‘we’re winning this’.

Woke up this am with massive wtf was I thinking vibes.

Basically, we’re getting smashed lads….

Weirdly I think we’re way more likely to win then get gubbed.

Still calling it 0-0 though.

I'm always going to go into games thinking we'll do something special. Even been trying to convince myself the reason we looked so lethargic on Tuesday was because we're holding back for the derby.

If we look as off the pace as we did midweek though it's going to be a horror show. As long as we run ourselves into the ground fighting then I'm happy whatever the result tbh.

This.

If we get off to a poor start it could get very ugly.

Can see no reason to be hopeful here.

Maybe we'll huff and puff a bit early on - make a few chances but not take them. Then they'll score through a bit of quality or a series of mistakes by us. They'll very quickly score a second and we'll ride out the rest of the game in comfort, trying to keep the score down rather than actually win the game.

That goal by Gundogan was an absolute killer in the final. If we see that again we're £#%&!ed
