Default Bale Interview

Some of those questions are embarrassing. Trying to create a story from nothing

I can’t imagine myself at Manchester United. In a recent interview they asked me if I was unhappy at Real and I told them I’m really happy here. I’ve got several years left on my contract, I’m enjoying myself, we’re winning trophies and I want to keep doing that here at Real.

good news. Would hate to see stupid money spent on this #@&%!. Once that pace goes, he's £#%&!ed.

David Beckham’s wife said Madrid smelt of garlic. What does Madrid smell of to you?

To be honest I’ve never really thought about what it smells of. [Laughs] Well I was here on holiday as a boy so it smells of holidays.

There you have it. Madrid smells of...... holidays

Does a Welshman have to play for Wales, or can they choose to play for England?

Disrespectful Spanish gimps.

Gutted they didn't ask him if he knows Charlotte Church.

I suppose they've got to keep some of the top material for later interviews.

He really does hate us doesn't he. Determined to never play for us.

Not what we need anyway.

Yeah, can't imagine a rapid winger breaking at speed. LVG's worst nightmare.

he could be shite in our system. We don't play on the break and bale ain't up to much mentally. He needs space to run into.

I know he would be good sometimes, he's a good player obviously, but £#%&! that paying 100m for someone who plays opposite to the way the team is set up.

Reus for £20 mil would make far more sense, although Madrid will probably want him as well

I would have to check his Opta Stats for passing backwards before passing judgement.

If he doesn't do it a great deal, forget about it, definitely not what we need.

Perhaps with a player like Bale on the books we might get a change from the boring system we are playing now, we can only hope.

And those that say Bale is £#%&!ed once his speed goes, they said the same about Giggs, you may remember him still playing without pace at the age of 40.

Bale hasn't got half the footballing brain of giggs IMO.

Actually, I'm not sure he has half a brain at all after reading that interview.
