Have to wonder whether he just wants that level, If he stays at QPR he knows he's a big fish in a small pond, won't get dropped, has no expectations other than gain promotion, which is inevitable. He can do all the tricks he wants and take the piss out of mediocre defences.

Next season in the prem we'll get a better idea of his talent.

He deserves the opportunity, he can always go back.

Watched him a lot this season, on tv and in the flesh. He would get slaughtered every week on here

Pretty sure Messi and Xavi would be fine, as Ronaldo was after the first few years.

But Taarabt would get 10 times the abuse Nani does. Just in that game against coventry he gave the ball away in his own half after needlessly hanging onto it, more than once. He'd get shown up against decent opposition

Ronaldo was still getting abuse when he was scoring 40 odd goals in a season. 'Yes, he's scoring goals, but...'

It would be up to whoever bought him to iron those flaws out of his game, if they can't, they can't, but he's got to be worth the gamble.
