For anyone outside of the UK, you can get this from The Book Depository for £7.77 with free delivery worldwide.

If you're in Australia use Booko to get it delivered for AU$11.97.

Will there ever be a chapter 2?

Ta, and that shouldn't be the case - which stores was she looking in? on the plus side, imagine it's cheaper through Amazon.

I've written this book that's in the shops now, nominally about following United around, away from home only, during the 2009/10 season, though hopefully there's a bit more to it than that - why people love United, why people love football, why people love anything, and why they behave in the way that they do kind of thing. It also looks at why the game's in such an obscene mess, sticking the boot in as viciously as possible into as many of those responsible as possible, and comes with a foreword from the exceedingly generous Michael Crick.

Obviously I would say that it's good, but to avoid any Christine Keeler-style responses, will just say that if you click on any of the links below, you'll be able to see that a few others you may have heard of, whose opinions are more reliable than mine, did too.

Anyway, am posting this with the kind permission of the mods, and as this is a fairly big deal for me - it's my first book, though there's some fiction hopefully not too far behind - I'd be unfeasibly grateful to anyone buying, and equally so for any general word-spreading to other Reds and football fans.

Right, I'll shut up now, and look forward to receiving your derision, though i promise my prose isn't generally as mealy-mouthed as this post. Sale links are below, and thanks all again - apologies in advance for any bttt antics, from which I shall endeavour to refrain.

On the Road by Daniel Harris !! ...does it bear any relation to On the Road by Jack Kerouac ?? ...I ask cos that's a right pile of shit.

To be perfectly honest, I'd show more enthusiasm if I didn't feel so very bitter.. one rule for one .. and all that ! ...It's all very well for you to get Armchair's blessing, but when I asked him if he could make a sticky of my book.. "The Lawn Drainage Bible - from top dressing to hollow-tining in 25 easy steps" he showed me the door.. figuratively speaking.

And as for novels, I started righting one once. I'd completed writing out all the page numbers at the bottom and all I needed to do was to fill in the rest.. must finish that off at some point.

My brother's read it. Wouldn't stop going on about how good (and funny) it is. He loved it.

I'll get it at some point.

You're the first person I've ever encountered who does. Are you familiar with Sweetheart of the Rodeo? Americana as it's meant to be done.
