He is a Utd player. FA/PL whatever are simply crossing the t's and dotting the i's. Mascherano's deal to Liverpool took 2 weeks to sanction, this won't it'll be done this week.

There's no hold up. Everyone involved wants it done properly. My info is that he's a Utd player, the same source who kept telling me the deal was done weeks back despite all the bally hoo in the media.

Re Mascherano, the 2 week delay was to do with them going over all documents to ensure it's legality and that there was no 'relationship' a la the one at West Ham prior to him having his registration torn up.

Don't worry. Deep breaths etc etc...

SSN are reporting the same. Saying he won't be registered today and possibly not in time for the Reading match.

Not the end of the world. He probably wouldn't play against Reading anyway.

'A source close to' the PL. No less.

I'm not surprised or worried about the news at all. He can still play tomorrow, still might be ok for the Reading game, and he might not be fit enough for it anyway.

Like I said they want to ensure there is no repeat of the WHU saga. All it is is a case of making sure everything's above board etc etc.

He's hardly going to play much anyway in the next few weeks IMHO... He's only been training with us a week and missed most of pre-season.

I don't know when they'll register him. I said when everything was tied up last Friday that I'd be surprised if he made the Reading game. He's a Utd player, the PL are just ensuring everything's ok with the transfer.

Calm down ffs.
