you lot are missing the point here...mccarthy is an excellent holding midfielder used to the league and willl be a perfect stop gap until Strootman is fit

its not a case of mccarthy instead of Reus or Fab etc

The story is utter nonsense and can be confirmed by the fact that Van Gaal won't have even heard of James Mc£#%&!ingCarthy.
