Brilliant assessment.

No surprise to see the Van Gaal out brigade come steaming out of the woodwork. "how dare you suggest United aren't shit"".

You're both right/wrong.

We are still the biggest game for most teams. These players are in their 20s/30s and they've only known United as THE dominant side in English football. It's a huge game for every player, certainly bigger than West Brom or anyone else.

It doesn't account for our performances, though.

From 2005-2010 he was the biggest doomlord on here ffs you obviously wouldn't know having only joined in April last year.

A lone striker getting a standing ovation for his part in a 4-0 win against west ham. Them were the days.

True. We were poor against West Ham. No denying. However we've been the biggest scalp in English football for 20 odd years and we still are.

If they were down to 10 men in midweek then that's their own fault, they shouldn't £#%&!ing cheat so much. Got another red today, the dirty bastards.

I think that was the real killer. Galling as it is to see a gutless surrender like this from a team that scrapped so dirty against us, Sparky's frustration, though understandable, is misplaced.

Still, £#%&! 'em, they're out
