Will probably watch Leipzig hopefully turn it around as the other looks done.

Everyone is supposed to play football ‘the right way’ and be ‘brave’. There’s no place for tactical acumen and adaptability.

yeah it's all very nice striding up and down the touchline in your chinos and hoodie, shouting and pointing, it's the new rock n roll. But at some point you need a blank cheque book and a squad better than anyone to make your philosophy look good.

i think the issue for clubs like Southampton nowadays, there's no point of investing heavily into their squad cause they're never going to win the league and the chances of them winning a domestic trophy are very thin

so all they have to do is not get relegated and the season can be deemed a success. if i supported them i'd much rather they played this brand of football and got beat occasionally than play like Burnley week-in-week-out.

Hassenhutl i still rate as a coach, you can't discount what he did at RB Leipzig, but i do agree somewhat he needs to evolve what he's doing over there or at the very least make them difficult to beat. this defending against a team like City is insane.

You would hope at least a few had given Sunday's game a good watch. Even if it was too much to expect anything tonight given the form Soton are in.
