And now the Spanish FA are demanding his resignation. Looks like we were the U-turn kings for a week before being out-shitshowed by the Spanish, in quite considerable style it must be said.

The guy seems to be quite sleazy but if this nothingness really is all Western civilization has to be in uproar about them we must be in great shape.

so based on that logic, the only time you do house repairs is when the roof is falling in and not when the window is cracked?

he shoudn't have done it, it's £#%&!ing weird and if you did that to a woman in most lines of work, you'd be down the road...

i'm not saying he deserves to be thrown in jail, but come one, what he did deserves punishment.

and it's only uproar because he's an indulged, spoilt headcase who won't admit to doing wrong.

Exactly. A simply apology and recognition that it was inappropriate and the whole story is forgotten within 48 hours. This is a cancer that infests almost everyone in a position of power or authority right now, they simply can't admit to making a mistake and want to present an (false) air of invincibility.

He's done himself no favours by waging war on the women's team, rather than quickly apologise for any offence caused etc.
