Two games there that sum up the sickening state of modern football.

Hopefully Red Star and AC can summon inspiration from past glories, when the greatest club competition in the world was free from the toxic poison of Arabian interference.

Hoping Milan run in three in the second half here, cannot stand Newcastle...

Probably the Feyenoord game from the later ones, hoping Celtic get battered on and off the pitch.

Can anyone fully name those lineups. (Without googling as will get armchair to mine cookies) Milan one thought I'd do better than did.

If rumours are correct, had his transfer fee not been so high, we would have signed him.

Lovely finish from Taremi, the Porto left winger has scored two and assisted that - looks mint - Galeno, no idea who he is tbh.

Nice to see city's fans have greeted their greatest ever side's first home game as european champions with their usual enthusiasm of leaving loads of empty seats behind their double massive advertising boards.

Opted for the Barca game in the end. Felix with a goal and an assist. I had a feeling he’d fit in well there.

Most games are now. Football is absolutely £#%&!ing joyless.

It's a disgusting, sterile game of stat £#%&!ery where 4 players have to get involved in goal kicks and it takes 40 passes to get 30 yards from your own goal.

I would hazard a guess that the vast amount of post-match analysis nowadays is monopolised by VAR discussions.

There is rarely much talk about individual pieces of brilliance, as players have been moulded into generic prototypes to fit rigidly tight 'systems'. Where are the mavericks?

Football is a sad state of affairs these days, where the majority of the supposed 'entertainment' comes from the controversy around referee decisions. Absolute shite 'product'.
