That was a great example of what happens when you combine the perfect storm of good confidence, an opponent who aren't good enough to deal with the high press and a ref who gives you absolutely everything. But that has never been City's problem, and it won't be their problem this year either. That will come with a reverse or two and the need to show some fight and backbone. Guardiola has done some good work replacing old, slow full backs and they have a different dimension now for sure, but will they be able to go bare knuckle when they face an opponent who doesn't allow them to prance about? I'm skeptical.
