The standard of this league is still pitiful, West Brom in a comfortable 8th a sign of the problem.

Watched Arsenal capitulate at Chelsea earlier, they were a disgrace, soft, spineless, lacking character or leadership. All the chasers have similar flaws. This Chelsea team are good but it is not overwhelming individual quality that is carrying them, rather that they are well coached, committed to how they play and it is all predicated on hard work, energy and discipline. They have a solid spine, but players like Alonso, Moses, Cahill, even Pedro would not be highly sought after by any of their main rivals.

Perhaps Spurs deserve a little credit, they have similar qualities to Chelsea and have built on a decent showing last season, but Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Utd

A penalty or 2 would certainly £#%&!ing help, but it's noticeable teams make less monumental £#%&! ups like that against us for some reason...

we've had a couple of decent shouts turned down but the main reason is that we don't get the ball to feet in the penalty area and get defenders panicking. We're very easy to defend against.

We've won seven in a row, dropped points to Hull. Liverpool have lost four of their last five to Wolves, Swansea, Southampton and Hull, but not Chelsea.....it's weird. So maybe....just maybe....?....not keep saying who is DEFINITELY getting points and when.

Yet they'll still cruise against canon fodder and finish top four..it's what they do and excepted standard now.
