Second half petered out but for 55-60 mins it was an excellent performance, good showings throughout the team, good tempo and penetration.

Good to see Rooney come back with a goal, Tevez for all his hard work has not taken the chance to make himself undroppable, very quiet tonight, Rooney to start against Blackburn as a test ahead of Inter, if he looks sharp he will most likely start that game.

Defence was not quite as secure tonight, no real saves for VDS but 2/3 very close calls.

I saw that too.

Nothing very interesting over there. Most of them are depressed and resigned to us winning it, with a few holdouts saying it's still February, etc.
