Fergie recommended him to Richard Arnold a few years ago apparently. We did £#%&! all. I reckon the big man opened a good bottle of red when that bug eyed @#%&! got his marching orders.

The reaction to transitioning to a competently run club is heart warming to see. Everyone either hates it or can't stop writing about it.

Seeing Newcastle get patted on the head and told to go on their way after suddenly thinking they've become a footballing force has been the cherry on top.

Just incredible to see the reputation of football journalism get buried week after week. Article after article about how badly run Manchester United is with a few ideas of how to fix it. The second we make a few sound appointments they backtrack. No no no, not like that. We didn't mean at the expense of another club.

Rampant hypocrisy. Inject it.

The city guy is a celebrity now? I'd not heard of him prior to him going us.

Par for the course for Jonathan Liew. Here he is on men competing in women's sport

Quote:
Let’s say transgender athletes pour into women’s sport, and let’s say, despite the flimsy and poorly-understood relationship between testosterone and elite performance, they dominate everything they touch. They sweep up Grand Slam tennis titles and cycling world championships. They monopolise the Olympics. They fill our football and cricket and netball teams. Why would that be bad?
No idea, Jonathan. No idea. Maybe ask a woman.

This just seems like an inflated story simply because it’s us. All these articles talking about ‘DEADLOCK’ like we’re bidding for some £100m star player.

He’s a shirt. It’ll get sorted.

All this talk of the sensitive information he has. I guess they keep managers locked out of the room when looking at the latest football manager database, since football clubs happily discard them after a bad 3 games
