UNITED TEAM NEWS

Several members of the Manchester United squad are doubtful for Saturday's game at Crystal Palace because of a virus. Manager Louis Van Gaal said "a lot" of players were suffering from the virus, but would not go into specifics.

Michael Carrick (calf) and Rafael (rib) won't play again this season, but full-back Luke Shaw (groin) is available. Centre-backs Marcos Rojo (adductor), Jonny Evans (nerve) and Phil Jones (ankle) have overcome their respective injuries, but may be lacking in match rhythm to make the starting XI.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Valdes, Amos, Blackett, Blind, Shaw, Smalling, McNair, Jones, Rojo, Evans, Young, Fellaini, Herrera, Valencia, Di Maria, Januzaj, Pereira, Mata, Falcao, Rooney, Van Persie, Wilson.

PALACE TEAM NEWS

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has no injury concerns. Fraizer Campbell and Marouane Chamakh are both available again after recovering from hamstring injuries, while Joel Ward played 90 minutes against Chelsea last weekend, having overcome a shin complaint.

Wilfried Zaha is set to face United for the first time since he left Old Trafford to rejoin Palace on a permanent deal in the January transfer window.

MATCH FACTS

- Manchester United have lost three Premier League games in a row for the first time since December 2001. The last time they lost four games in a row within the same season was in 1961.

- United had 79.9% possession in their defeat by West Brom last weekend - the most by anyone this season, and the second highest in the Premier League since 2003.

- The Red Devils have won only six of the 17 Premier League games that Michael Carrick hasn't played in this season, but have 13 wins from 18 when he has featured.

- United have failed to score in their last two away games. They have only failed to score in three consecutive Premier League games once before, back in April 2005.

- Wayne Rooney currently has 185 Premier League goals – the only players with more are Andy Cole (187) and Alan Shearer (260).

Ginners showing again why he is SOTY. If we win thats cl 100% confirmed and as a top red he'll be happy. If we lose, thats a nice earner and we will get CL anyway.

Smart bloke.

Counter attacking team, Carrick out...

Dangerous match.

United should approach it thinking that a draw is not ideal but still very much acceptable.

Remember what happened to Liverpool's title hopes when they went all out attack vs Chelsea when a draw was enough to stay ahead.

fancy us today tbh
0-2
..which should just about guarantee Champions League for next season.

Sick to bleeding death of this season though tbf
Half a dozen stand-out results/performances aside it's been like watching paint dry.

"We have a virus in our dressing room," Van Gaal said at his press conference.

"I have a little bit of pain in the throat. (James) Wilson also has had that for one week but is recovering now. Maybe he can be on the bench (at Palace).

"A lot of players are suffering (from it)."
Great
