It happens it's the circle of life we all know he probably knows he's not a top level player anymore , Jose has managed this superbly he's played he's got his record he's remained capt he's been benched come on a lot in games for injured where still winning . He's on a huge wage which I'd imagine can cover griezmann and still have change he's relatively young but his body isn't be staggered if any team in the uk comes in for him even if he was asking 100k a week he's not worth it offers little has very little pace and can't control games .. he's had an amazing Utd career that been extended 4 years as Ferguson would ha e 100 percent sold him had he stayed .. enjoy wherever you end up .. thanks

No way should we let him go mid season

Honestly can't see him moving to China and not sure Everton would be an option

My money is on MLS.

This is quite clearly Rooney's last season at United. We've all known this for some time.
Mourinho's played it very well tbf.
Rooney has the Club goal scoring record now & also won the FA Cup last season which were the 2 remaining targets on his personal United honours list.

He'll leave in the summer, hopefully with a Europa League winners medal to complete the set.

How can any human being with all the problems in the world, with all the every day problems that we all have to deal with, still be angry about a Footballer handing in a transfer request 7 (SEVEN) years ago

Even Stretford couldn't convince Rooney to go over there.

I don't think there's much money in the MLS. But it would be a great lifestyle for him and he'd still be getting paid relatively stupid money.

The lad must be £#%&!ing minted already.

That's why I'm thinking the US

It will ultimately come down to what's best for his family imo and not the money.

He may want to go back to Everton but I doubt Ronald Koeman wants to be lumbered with a past his best high earner who no doubt will expect to start when fit.

I reckon he'll join Celtic.

It'll come down to who pays him the most. United getting no fee but getting him off the wages to spend on Griez.

China is the only option at the moment, the days of the yanks spending daft money on washed up footballers has long gone.
