'memorable' though, given the context of the game, and the season, where might the season have ended up if he'd scored.

There was the flying starfish v Inter Milan too

Dave at Villa last year.

1-2 at the time and maybe would have put Villa out of sight. As it was we went in to win 3-2.

VDS at Fulham in 2007 from Davies. He turned and volleyed it, 1-1 at the time and under pressure. Went on to win 2-1.

Great saves are one thing. It's what they lead to that makes them better.

He wasn't a bad keeper but he made a £#%&! up v Southampton at home (as bad as Roy Carroll v Spuds) and he was never the same after that

I remember him having a stormer at Anfield. We lost 1-0 (dodgy penalty ) but it would have been 4 or 5 if it wasn't for him.

Bailey v Smith in 83
Schmeichel v Everton 94(guess)
Schmeichel v Salas 98/99
and I always remember Chris Turner doing a flying save but £#%&!ed if I remember who it was against.

90 minutes was great, miles better than Shoot and Match

Damage in the Box, the little cartoon strip. The Fools Panel, which my mate was in once. And just the captions under the photos used to make me laugh and helped to shape my sense of humour to this day
