Big Zlat in the Summer?

According to France Football, the owners of Paris Saint-Germain are giving serious consideration to giving the 33-year-old nearly £12m in return for the final year of his contract if he agrees to bugger off this summer. Paying to make bad news go away, that’s the Qatari way.

So who would want a troublesome striker deemed unmanageable by some? Hark, is that Brendan Rodgers flying to the rescue? Or just another plane calling on Rodgers to be sacked?

So who would want an ageing big-name striker who’ll command humungous wages? Say, are those Manchester United’s ears #@&%!ing up? If so, they can possibly hear the laughing of Jorge Mendes, who is the agent of both David De Gea and Radamel Falcao and is reportedly telling United that if they want to hold on to the goalkeeper this summer, then they have to keep the striker too. Falcao is a striker, in case you’d forgotten.

Hark could be like Draggers' mate who tries to make friends with all the players, show him round town, the right places to go and be seen.

In his book he accuses Van Gaal (then director of football, Koeman was manager) of favouring Van der Vaart over him in a scrap between the two of them, because of the club's need for a Dutch superstar.

Wouldn't be an issue at United, though if there's bad blood...

That's a bit of a pessimistic outlook. When you're buying a season ticket/ticket your'e paying to watch the united first team. You should be expecting to see the best players in the league, not the best potential in the league all the time.
