1 year transfer ban or 5-10 point deduction.

Just enough to make it seem like it’s been dealt with harshly, but has no long-term impact on them or how they operate.

A proper example would be to strip them of anything they've won whilst cheating. I think that'd be the right way to go. If you've be found to have bribed a referee in a cup final, there's no way you would keep that Cup. Them pissing all over the Premier League rule book, whilst hoovering up titles is just wrong.
