There is little or no outrage over what they have done

No set of fans has called them out for their cheating

This will embolden them, they will be confident they can get away with anything

They’ll find themselves a distant second choice for the worlds best players once the Qataris buy us.

That’s the biggest punishment.

I’m holding out a faint hope that £#%&!ing over Madrid was a step too far, you can do it to anyone else in Europe but not them. They’ll be in the ears of anyone who matters

£#%&! all and a team like Stoke will probably get relegated and deducted points for spending 50p over their budget.

Exactly. Bolton will get smoked for Man Dhabi’s indiscretions.

Hell the FA can’t prove anything anyway. Do people really think Abu Dhabi is opening the books to UEFA to the FA? Hell no. They have so many ways to get extra money to players, coaches and agents that only other wealth funds can keep up.

I think they’ll have a hefty fine and a few points deducted. Maybe a transfer ban?

They’ll get a punishment that looks serious, but isn’t:

1 year transfer ban or 5-10 point deduction.

Just enough to make it seem like it’s been dealt with harshly, but has no long-term impact on them or how they operate.

At this rate they'll end up giving us the points deduction for the league having the audacity to charge them

A proper example would be to strip them of anything they've won whilst cheating. I think that'd be the right way to go. If you've be found to have bribed a referee in a cup final, there's no way you would keep that Cup. Them pissing all over the Premier League rule book, whilst hoovering up titles is just wrong. They've cheated. Over 100 times
