On a par with David Burrows and Graeme Pierre Le Saux for having a face that needs smacking with a frying pan!

He wanted him but City beat us / paid more to him.

Your second sentence says more about your memory than Fergie's judgement.

As my father once said..

You can tell a lot about a man by the friends he keeps.

Yeah true.

I've forgotten what worldies Smalling, Jones, Young, Kagawa, Buttner, Obertan, Owen, Bebe and Powell are.

Joys of getting older, memory gets hazy I suppose

I'd consider taking him on a loan with the option to buy, just to bulk the squad up and add some experience to it. The rage factor on here plays a big part in my thinking as well. Marlo in the players lounge after games would ruffle some feathers for sure. But if he gets on well with Pogna and Big Red Rom then he could come good and 10 million is a steal in this market.

Isn't he still under investigation as regards that dodgy drip he was using?

Didn't we want him but he chose City due to higher wages?

Bullet dodged.

Easily take him for £10m, if hes really the nasty type and got a bit of needle about him then he'd want to piss on city's face by doing well here. Clearly has quality still.

Wilshere and Nasri for a combined £20m lads, get on it. Both better footballers than Perisic and Dier whod cost 5 times that.
