First touch is a disasterclass but the bloke is a good finisher tbf. With skillful players in Mkhi, Mata, Martial, Januzaj, Rashford and of course Pogba he should be on the end of more chances and become a 30+ goal a season striker.

If we wanted someone big and proven in the league, we should have chucked silly money at Kane.

I'm trying to get excited about this but it's really hard. It feels like Fellaini all over again.

He'll score goals because half the league is shite but he's not going to get us to where we want to be in Europe.

Kane would be impossible.

And it appears we want someone big and strong.

He's better than Fellaini. Let's not get carried away.

He's obviously better than Fellaini, but it feels the same. Signing a player none of us really want for silly money.

Hopefully he comes and makes us all look silly.

There's no way they'd turn down £120m for him.

We are miles away from the champions league but the league is winnable. Let's go for that this season

Fellaini felt like Moyes comfort blanket. Lukaku is more of a José striker. It makes sense, even if I agree it's a little uninspiring.

Ridiculous 'top bracket' fees that don't reflect top bracket quality doesn't help either, but that's just the market right now

as long as he has the right players to support him it won't be such a bad signing.

namely a better left winger than perisic.

Yes they would. No fee is worth a public stoning to Levy, they would tear his arms out of their sockets.
