Default Non United transfer thread

'Stevie G' is apparently favouring going to Man City, but Spurs have also registered an interest. He's already said he wont go to Chelsea or United.

If City are making Gerrard sized signings, they'll be competing for the title next season. hate to say it. We'll still beat them, just they'll be up there.

He wont go to Chelsea? So he doesn't actually want to win anything?

In other news, Villa to Barca virtually a done deal and Fabregas is next. Really puts into perspective some of the signings we've been making recently.

It's inevitable they'll be there sooner or later. However, I'm just hoping their owners ensure it's the latter by chopping and changing the manager every few months. If any club can £#%&! things up it's the Divs, never forget that.

Gerrards on the slide, the vermin might as well cash in.

They'll never get rid of Ibra for a top price . But they'll have a bloody strong forward line - Messi, Villa and Pedro, Bojan and Ibra on the bench.

Real meanwhile will probably have Ronaldo, Kaka, Higuain, Di Maria or Silva and possibly Benzema.

We'll have Rooney, Owen, Berbatov, Macheda and Hernandez.

I refuse to acknowledge any deal Barca do as 'good business' after they paid what, 60m plus Eto'o? for someone who doesn't even really fit into their team.

Thumbs up Re: Non United transfer %@#$&!s thread

Gerrard at City is a huge step up in his quest to win the £#%&!ing league.

Him going there at 30 after his worst ever season for more than 40mil, says everything about City.

They'd be much better going for somebody else at those prices/age/form/@#%&!

Hope it goes through.

I think Villa is sorted, Fabregas will be more tricky. But who could blame Fabregas if he wanted to leave?

If he does leave and Wenger as expected doesn't invest properly, City could get third next season.

It's a sickener looking at barcelona and how they operate when you consider what United could do with a similar structure.

Yep. they've brought through 6 or 7 players through their youth teams in the past few years, but they've spent shit loads in the transfer market on the likes of Hleb, Ibra, Chygrinsky, Eto'o and now Villa.

Apparently, Liverpool are after Banega.................for EIGHT MILLION SQUID.

That wouldn't shock me at all, a quality player who, if it was us after him (and £#%&! knows why we wouldn't be) would be quoted £40m.They'll probably have a done deal this time next week

*ignores that it's just transfer 'gossip'*

if Barca are in for Villa and Fabregas, we should go in for Iniesta. I would £#%&!ing cream myself seeing him in a United shirt. wanted him here for years.

£#%&! it, he should be our number one target, then get Benderzema on the cheap from Madrid after a dogshit world cup (if he even plays)
