£25.5 million

How much is that in total? He'll technically cost more than Berbles.

it will rise i reckon, they're using the old 'he's unhappy at his treatment and could go to citeh' line. probably to bump up the price

even he knows that will never happen

Joorabchian will now talk to Tevez, who is on international duty, but there are suggestions he will snub United to join Manchester City for higher wages and more first-team football

There's just as much 'evidence' attributed to this as us putting in an offer.

Pro-Tevez I wouldn't get your hopes up.

i've just realised the title is misleading - we've agreed the price. he wont go to citeh if we stump up the cash though. not unless he really is a @#%&!

Also the only quote in the 'article' is from Hughes. I'll be very annoyed if we sign him (tev not hughes!)

Default if i was kia @#%&!

and my client was off to sign for one of his present club's most hated rivals, i don't think i could imagine a better way to ingratiate him with his new fans than to suggest that his old club offered to pay the amount but he still chose to move.

maybe i'm just being cynical, mind...

Kia called City as soon as the meeting with United was over and told them he was going to City, in the meeting Kia asked for a guarantee that Tevez would be a starter. Obviously United won't do that. So it's more than likely he'll be going to City.

The thing is Tevez wants to pick which games he starts. Early last season when he was picked he was complaining that he was tired and playing too many games then later in the season it was he wasn't getting enough starts.

Exactly, at least Berba doesn't moan when he doesn't start games.

Can you imagine if we agree to pay the figure and he does that.

However I am sure the contract states if we pay before 30th June then he is contractually commited to singing for us.

Maybe we should pay it and flog him to City for a profit the next day.
