The hardest save to make, don't think he knew much about it, which doesn't take away from how good the save was
IMO

instinctive, brilliant and lucky. much better than a £#%&!ing star jump (however, you won't beat the look on zamorano 's face). however, he didn't have to get down to it or dive, just wave his arm.... so.... anyone could have made that save.

de gea made a very similar save to hart's against chelsea a couple of years ago. some idiot called mata taking it.

That one from the Mata free kick was sensational. It looks in every time you watch it.

Technically neither are saves as they only managed to tip them onto the post. Should have saved them more. Both needed forces outside of their control to prevent a goal so very lucky really.

technically human existence is intrinsically meaningless, so goalkeepers, saves and even football itself will be worth nothing when it comes to the flash of the reaper's scythe.

The next year, from almost the same spot, Mata went to the other side and scored.

So goalkeepers can either be bad or functional?

you mean on the internet or on the planet?
if the former then der, if the latter then no, too busy arguing with wums on the internet to solve that little riddle.

depends how easily impressed you are. looked like he just stuck his arm out to me.
fair enough, he must have spent hours falling over and standing up again quickly...
