He can only play a limited number at any one time, though. I'm convinced part of it is the "get them so nobody else can" trick again - easy when you have literally bottomless pockets

Stockpiling getting a bit silly

Would love it if this shit killed the golden goose - unlikely, with new generations not seeing the difference

Why do you think players like Aguero and Silva are still there?

They’re all getting paid a fortune. £260k? That won’t even be half of what they’re getting a week.

Well, I meant the game in a broader sense but yep, that would be amusing if unlikely.

FFP has become a £#%&!ing joke.

They had an effective pairing of Tony Coleman and Neil Young on the left, nicely £#%&!ed up by Marsh’s arrival. He was good at juggling the ball near the corner flag, though. Allison trying to bring a bit of George Best to the club.

It's still in the innermost psyche of the Berts that are my age and older. It's ingrained in their subconscious mind.

meh, they score for fun so hopefully this huffy little £#%&!er disrupts them.

Hopefully hinders Gabriel Jesus's development. Jose would be slaughtered

Who’s place is he taking then? Could upset their rhythm team spirit this tbh. They don’t need him.

Agüero off in the summer? Always been suggestions that Guardiola doesn’t love him. Quite a few reckon they actually play better without him too. Sat out of the whole derby without needing to be called upon, which was quite depressing from our point of view.

Would be a huge gamble to let him leave though.
