Good value for Ronaldo, Portugal are in one of the weakest groups of the tournament aswell so he's got a good chance to rattle in a few before they meet the runner up of Germany's group which is likely to be Croatia, Poland or Austria.

I thought Portugal had quite a touch group?

Most of the groups look relatively tight, supposed worst teams in there are probably the hosts, so you know they wont get spanked either. Which leads me to suspect the top scorer would really only need 4 to top the charts (last three have been won with 5 in the tournament). You wont do that in the groups (unless there's something special which isn't overly likely given the way Greece got themselves organized last time around & the Spains & France's were basically shite) so I'd suspect the top scorer will be from a team who reaches at least the semi's.

Ronaldo is as good a shout as any as he'll be on penalty duty as well as a threat from set pieces, something a lot of International goals are scored from. But he's had a ridiculous season, how many players take that form into a major tournament? Not too many really... Baros was top scorer last time ffs & Savo Milosovic joint top before that, so shows anything can happen.

In short, I haven't got a clue but I was quite bored eating lunch at my desk.
