Any got sanchos states from last season and Antony’s as well…

Let’s compare as there’s seems to be no problem starting Anthony. Let’s see their stats on how productive they are.

Sancho has 12 goals and 6 assists in his 2 seasons
Antony has 8 goals and 3 assists in his 1 season

Expecting more from both this year.

we look better with Antony on the pitch and once he's subbed off, the levels drop.

That is definitely the case. His output isn’t what we want, but he’s constantly grafting, holds the team shape and forces the opposition FB back. He adds productivity and he’s a cracking player. His first season was better than Sancho’s first nqat. Both are still young and need to push on.

Some seem to judge both as if they’re 27-28 and aren’t producing. Young attackers are often a bit up and down.

Exactly. It's not just stats. It's how the team plays. Generally, Sancho slows play down. Especially true in his first season. Looked a little better last season but the lazy @#%&! needs to put more effort in on fast counters.

Antony was judged by Abu's from day one, pundits, talksport, water cooler office bants etc ...

Was sad to see some reds buy into, repeat utter tosh about price tag and being one footed.....

Absolute worms tbh.....

We used to protect and big up our own....

We agree on something .

I’d rather start sancho as it stands.

a very intelligent tidy player.

If you offered pep garnacho, Anthony or sancho he is taking sancho!

Why don’t we judge by his stats like all players are these days.

getting taking and storming into the player who tackled him isn’t talent.

he is one footed though.

Most footballers are one footed being left footed is an asset to the team as it provides a threat most don't.....

Scored a few and assisted with his right last season by the way.....
.also had the most productive pre season out of all the squad....

Me, you and about 3 other posters on here have backed Antony since day one. When the fair weather fans come crawling to us by the end of the season begging for forgiveness - show no mercy.

Pep let Sancho go and looked at buying Antony and would love Garnacho tbf. Not sure that OCD #@&%!’s blessing means anything to me though.

The fiery-ness of Antony is a good thing, it just needs directing. Garnacho has it too, nqat.

If you judge on stats then Sancho v Antony sees Sancho benched.

He's the most edge of the seat player we have in the squad, a proper fighting winger that doesn't shirk his responsibility in attack or defence, he will try the sublime he will chip in with goals and back his teammates in rucks, gets the crowd out their seats and is a joy to watch....

A proper United winger ...

In days gone by before loads of e-reds even fired up the laptop this was the kind of player you wanted to watch in red....

Zero mercy....

Lay in your water cooler beds ....talksport on drip.

Terry from accounts mother £#%&!ers....

We’ve decided to go with young players, they have to be allowed to play and develop. We need them to perform, but they’re not the finished article so don’t judge them as if they are, regardless of what they cost.

He may play Sancho for Garnacho and use him as an impact sub though.
Anyway, the football is back (and what a mouth watering game we have to look forward to zzzzzzzzzzzz)
Yeah, this is what I'd go for, has to be until Højlund is fit. I think Garnacho will soon start to make it impossible to leave him out.

Looking forward to it now tbf, even if it is £#%&!ing Wolves. Early goal and let's put a few past the boring gold @#%&!s.

Only choice for me is right back.

Wouldn't be surprised at Dalot tonight and Wan Bissaka at weekend. Don't really understand Dalot starting last week if he isn't playing tonight.

I said to the lads on our WhatsApp at the start of last season that I'm not sold on Antony. I just don't see a top player in him but I haven't constantly slated him and I hope, with time, that he proves me wrong.
