Macheda is superb once he is inside the penalty box. I just hope he develops his overall game a bit more and then he will truly have a superb shot at united

Quality finishes from Kiko, great turn for the first one, bit lucky the 'keeper was comparable to a T-Rex with that reach though.

How did Anderson get on when he was on the pitch, did he seem mobile enough ? Glad he's back playing now, thought he wasn't going to be available 'til October for some reason.

As has been said I think, I'd have much rathered he came on on Sunday rather than the little scouse crock.

I'd rather have leukemia than Owen in the 7 shirt.

I was surprised to see him get a game so soon, he only started football training on Monday, didn't he?

I only saw a bit, but he looked much the same as when he got injured, 2 or 3 weeks hard training and a couple of games and he'll be back amongst the 1st team I reckon.

I was surprised Bebe didn't make the bench though, normally with new signings, they tend to get them playing in a game as quick as they can after their arrival, even if it is just as a cameo.

What's the script with Hargreaves now then? Last I heard he was off to see the specialist in America, again, that was in July. Doesn't anybody even bother asking about him anymore?

Hopefully todays papers are just having a pop at United. Would've thought he might've at least got on the bench.

I pay no attention to the rags, not even sure what has been said tbh.

I just remember Tosic, Obertan, Diouf et al, were put on the pitch at some level or other as quick as they could to get them involved, considering the strength of last nights bench, or lack of it, it was a bit of a surprise to not see him involved in some way.

Think they read partytowns thread on Red Ish yesterday. Basically, he was gonna be on the bench but has been really disappointing in training, particularly his first touch, so Ole and Fergie decided to pull him out.

Ah. I wouldn't read too much into that tbh. They knew he was going to be raw when they signed him, and he's only been here a week.
