For a young lad to make his debut in that game and to put in a performance like he did, i thought it was encouraging to say the least.

Great name but will most likely have a career at the likes of Hull, Walsall and Tranmere.

Why do people say this about every single young player that comes through?

Why cant he, in your opinion develop from here and breakthrough and become a first team player for united?

Ill tell you what, if Borthwick Jackson keeps improving the way he has Shaw is going to struggle to get back in the team..

He isn't . bothers is a decent player yet very weak and unbelievably slow....he was out run for balls and passed with ease today...

Shaw is actually better in the final third as well, although bothers has done well...

Love is a natural left back ironically but I thought he looked V good today for his first team debut considering he's played twice in a week already..

It was a bit worrying how badly he got burned for pace by that, albeit reknowned speed merchant, Fabio Borini.
